Situated close to the popular town of Downham Market, this restored barn makes an ideal holiday home for large families or groups. Tastefully decorated and furnished, this adjoining property boasts its own seven-seater hot tub (on the patio at the front), as well as table tennis and shared use of a tennis court. Overlooking farmland, the property combines modern day standards whilst retaining original features such as internal beams. All bedrooms boast en-suite facilities, whilst a ground floor bedroom makes provision for infirm guests. A garden and furnished courtyard completes this lovely property and makes the ideal place in which to relax with a glass of wine, or evening meal, after a hard day's touring. The dining-room table also converts into a snooker table for a friendly after-dinner game. Downham Market lies just 5 minutes' drive away and offers many interesting shops and restaurants, whilst a little further afield lies medieval Kings Lynn, complete with a waterfront and an array of restaurants, shops and theatres. The North Norfolk coast is nearby, renowned for its RSPB nature and bird reserves and excellent beaches - many of which have been awarded Blue Flag status. The traditional seaside resort of Hunstanton offers seaside attractions, Sea Life centre and sporting activities for young and old alike. Other places of interest to visit include the Royal Sandringham Estate (open to the public when the royals are not in residence) and Castle Rising, with its castle and abbey ruins. Pub 2 miles.
