This superior house sits in an elevated rural location, with panoramic views over Reydon Marshes and the Blyth Estuary, as well as glimpses of the North Sea to the extreme left. Superbly situated in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, this distinctive property, built in 1929, offers spacious yet refined holiday accommodation, and is furnished to a high standard of comfort and style. Beautifully designed, it enjoys its own outdoor heated swimming-pool and an acre of exclusive well-tended walled gardens, with an ornamental sunken garden within its grounds. It boasts many charming features, including attractively furnished bedrooms with unusual beds; two bedrooms enjoy ornamental railed balconies from which to take advantage of the captivating views. There is shared access to the surrounding 16-acre grounds (including a small wooded area) surrounded by fenced grassland paddocks grazed by sheep. Two chalets stand in the grounds. Only 2 miles away delightful Southwold offers a sand and shingle shoreline with colourful beach huts; take a stroll along the recently extended Southwold Pier or among streets lined with fine buildings housing a good choice of traditional shops, inns and restaurants. The legendary Adnam's Brewery still makes local deliveries of its ales by horse-drawn dray and the last mile of the River Blyth, to the south of the town, is lined with fishing-boat yards and huts selling fresh fish. The RSPB reserve at Minsmere gives good public access. There is easy touring along Suffolk's heritage coastline. Not far away (12 miles), Pleasurewood Hills Theme Park offers an enjoyable day out.
