Set down a quiet lane in the heart of Northumberland countryside, these delightful character cottages are situated next door to each other. They provide a perfect retreat in which holidaymakers can completely unwind away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Guests are welcome to roam the 60 acres of adjoining land, with many bridle paths to explore. Horse livery, outdoor menage and a cross country course available on request. Historic Alnwick, famous for its ornamental gardens and the 11th century castle setting for Harry Potter films, and Alnmouth, are both 3 miles. Wonderful base for discovering the rugged coastline, peppered with small fishing villages. Inland is a county of massive hills and moors, fast rivers and great forests between the Cheviots and the sea, easy touring through fields and corn and pastures dotted with stone hamlets and lined by dry-stone walls which patchwork the countryside.
