Perfectly located for a peaceful walking holiday, this bright and comfortable timber clad cottage is set a mile along a single track road, just below Lower Glendevon Reservoir. Although definitely off the beaten track and requiring a little pioneer spirit to maintain the solid fuel heating system and to find a mobile phone signal, you will be rewarded by peace, tranquillity and hill walks from the door. Tormaukin Inn, 2 miles, has a great reputation for good food and a warm welcome; there is also a pub at Glendevon, 2 miles. Fishing permits available for the reservoir, 100 metres. Golf at Muchart, 4 miles. Gleneagles and Aucherarder with shops, both 8 miles.
