Dating back to the 18th century, this enchanting barn conversion, adjacent to the owners' home, stands at the edge of the Georgian town of Richmond; enjoying magnificent views towards Richmond Castle. There are good riverside and woodland walks from the door, including Wainwright's famous `Coast to Coast' walk. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is nearby. Within easy reach are many historic houses to visit, or you could always have a day at the races at either Catterick, Ripon or Thirsk. The coast is also within easy reach for a day out (approximately 1 hour's drive). Shops 1/2 mile, inn serving real ale within 200 yards. Ground floor: Kitchen, shower room with toilet & basin. First floor: Lounge/dining room with sofa bed, 1 twin bedroom. Services: GFCH (controlled by the owners). All fuel, power, bed linen (duvets) & towels inc. DVD player. Elec cooker. M/wave.
