Stock Park Grange is a two-storey property enjoying a woodland setting, close to the Mansion. It obtained the European Architectural Heritage Award and is the perfect base for a quiet, relaxed holiday. Whilst they are privately owned and individually maintained, guests benefit from direct access to Lake Windermere, with free boat launching available (in advance), shared use of the lakeside picnic area and the adjoining woodlands, home to a wide variety of wild animals. Fishing, climbing, pony trekking and other outdoor pursuits are available within easy motoring distance.
