Within the grounds of Randy Pike, it is privately-owned and maintained, with its own rear lawn. Lying just off the main road between Ambleside and Hawkshead, both 2 miles, guests benefit from good access to the Beatrix Potter's House at Far Sawrey (NT) and Wordsworth's School House at Hawkshead, to name but a few. Ambleside and Hawkshead have a variety of eating places, many of the public houses provide bar meals, which include a range of traditional dishes. Golf 6 miles. For walking, Tarn Hows is nearby. A wealth of paths to follow amidst some choice scenery. All on ground floor: Open plan lounge/dining/kitchen, 1 double bedroom, shower room with toilet. Services: Full elec panel heaters.
