Good walking country - 1½ miles from the Pennines Set in glorious countryside, near to Appleby golf course, these two comfortably furnished and well-equipped cottages enjoy lovely views. Large shared garden, with deep pond, provides plenty of space in which to relax. The surrounding area is perfect for walking, the Pennines are only 1½ miles. Fishing, riding, golf and good inns are all close by. Appleby, 3 miles, with shops and a castle, is famous for its colourful Horse Fair in June. The Eden Valley, Lake District , Ullswater ½ hour's drive, and Yorkshire Dales are all within easy reach. Shops 3 miles. Ground Floor: Lounge with French doors leading to kitchen/dining area.
