This delightful thatched cottage has been totally renovated to provide four star accommodation within a beautiful landscaped garden of lawns and woodland. Fronting the property is the River Bure with wonderful views and an abundance of wildlife. Within walking distance of the village; there are shops, restaurants, a post office and leisure centre, with indoor swimming pool, within 1 mile. Golf (18-hole) at Sprowston Park 5 miles. In season there is fishing available from the property (current seasonal licence required), guests also benefit from the fact that day launches can be hired locally and moored in the dyke. Within easy reach of the coast, for a day at the sea, you will find Sea Palling (20 mins) with wide sandy beach backed by sand dunes or Great Yarmouth offers a more lively atmosphere with its traditional sea side attractions. Norwich, the region's capital, is within driving distance, here you will find excellent shopping and many historic country houses such as Blictling Hall, Felimingham and Sandringham. Norwich castle, built in about 1100, offers an excellent day out. Not far from the castle is the tall-spired cathedral, a marvelous example of Norman work.
