Good views from courtyard and garden
A lovely conversion of a fine old 1720s brick and tile stables, adjoining the owner's farmhouse on a non-working farm near the little hamlet of Edlaston, high above the Peak District market town of Ashbourne with fine views across to Thorpe Cloud and Dovedale in the distance. Ideal for couples or small family parties being set up a quiet farm track and surrounded by fields leading onto the lovely wooded fringes of Derbyshire Peak Park. Alton Towers is under 20 minutes away, with the striking limestone dales of the Peak Park, Chatsworth and Buxton all an easy drive, alternatively there is a nearby garden nursery and nature reserve. Children may like to visit the ponies. PO 1½ miles, pub/restaurant 250 yards.
Ground floor: Beamed lounge with open fire & dining area, patio door to garden, kitchen. First floor: Bathroom with shower over bath, toilet & basin, 2 bedrooms - 1 double, 1 twin (5ft 5in & 6ft 3in beds).
