This pretty detached cottage is situated within the large garden (reached by several garden steps) of the owner's adjacent house in the small village of Harbottle with it's one pub. It is quite small but well fitted out to provide good accommodation for a couple wanting to enjoy walking or biking on the National Cycle Trail or just seeking peace in this rural idyll within the Nothumberland National Park. Rothbury is 8 miles and the lovely East Coast beaches 25 miles, Roman Wall and Kielder Water are also easily reached by car. Alnwick with it's magnificent castle and the now famous Alnwick Garden is 22 miles. Open plan lounge with dining/kitchen area, 1 small double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Steep stairs (with handrail) to loft with floor cushions, seating height only. Services: Open fire. Partial NSH. Heated towel rail. All fuel, power, bed linen (duvets) & towels inc.
