Relax by the sea, in this terrace cottage, which is tucked away just 50 yards from Haverigg's long sandy beach. One of a row of four, with exposed beams over its exterior door and windows, it exudes traditional seaside charm. History abounds in Millom, 11/2 miles, the town is home to a folk museum full of unique local exhibits. Visit the Lake District, view Muncaster Castle, ride on the Ravenglass and Eskdale narrow-gauge Steam Railway or play a round at Silecroft's golf course, 3 miles. Children's playground close by. There are numerous opportunities to navigate coastal paths, sunbathe and picnic on the dunes, have a dip in the sea or treat yourself to a horse ride along the beach. Shop and pub within 200 yards.
