Situated on the edge of the popular village of Braunton, within a short distance of Braunton Burrows and the fabulous beaches of the Golden Coast, Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe, which are renowned as surfer's paradise. Burrows Cottage originally part of a 17th century farmhouse is now a semi detached cottage offering spacious accommodation with an abundance of character and has the benefit of its own small private enclosed courtyard which catches the afternoon sun. Just a short stroll from the hub of the village, which has a good selection of shops, pubs, restaurants, antique and curio shops and tea rooms. Keen birdwatchers, walkers and naturalists will find plenty to explore in the area, and the famous Tarka Trail passes yards from your doorstep - a perfect way to take in the scenery via the Taw and Torridge estuaries either on foot or bicycle. Nearby NT Arlington Court, Marwood Gardens, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal works, Brannams Pottery, and Exmoor National Park all within easy driving distance. Locally, fishing, sailing, golf, horse riding, with surf board, windsurf, wetsuit and bicycle hire available. Shops and pubs 500 yards.
