Over 200 years old, this traditional Welsh cottage with low ceilings and inglenook fireplace was originally used by monks as a retreat on their pilgrimage to Bardsey Island. Protected by its own mountain, the cottage is idyllically situated in the middle of pastureland, with panoramic views of Caernarfon Bay and Anglesey. Access to the cottage is along a rough track, 1/4 mile off the main Caernarfon-Pwllheli road. It is a birdwatcher's paradise and an excellent base for touring the Llyn Peninsula, Snowdonia and Anglesey. There are numerous yellow flagged beaches nearby together with castles at Caernarfon and Criccieth. Shop/bakery, pubs and restaurants 2 miles.
Ground floor: Comfortable lounge with inglenook, kitchen/dining room, 1 double bedroom, bathroom with bath, toilet & basin. Steep stairs to first floor: 1 twin bedroom (for children only).
Services: Open fire. NSH. Bed linen (duvets) inc. Fuel for fire avail locally. Elec by meter reading. Parking for 2 cars. Elec cooker. M/wave. F/freezer. Washer/dryer. Garden with furniture. BBQ.
