Ideal walking country A 19th-century character cottage, adjoining the owners home, built on 18th-century foundations and modernised with great care to a very good standard. Many of the original features have been retained, including beautiful old beams, cast iron fireplaces and flagged stone floors. Cropton is a very attractive and quiet village, an ideal touring base, right on the boundary of the North York Moors National Park. Cropton Forest is under 1 mile away and there must be surely very few better areas for walkers and lovers of the countryside. Shop 4 miles, pub 200 yards. Ground floor: Lounge, dining/kitchen.
