You can walk or ride up the hill for super views across the Severn Valley to the Malvern Hills. The River Avon twists its way around Bredon Hill from which on a clear day at least six counties can be seen. The village of Bredon is 1½ miles away with a good local pub and shop. Nearby Broadway has lured visitors since the last century, while the market town of Evesham has retained its elegance despite expansion and is best seen in the spring when the blossom is on the trees. Great Malvern, the home of Elgar and the pretty little Georgian town of Pershore with its Abbey are worth a visit. Shop and pub 1½ miles.
