A well furnished, stone-built period cottage and a charming single storey stone cottage, formerly the local blacksmith's cottage and forge, set in this pretty hamlet amongst the rolling countryside and farmland about one mile from shops and pub in Leafield, with Burford and Witney about 4 miles. Surrounded by a large garden with summer house and patio area and 2 acres of steep woodland on 3 sides. The larger cottage, ref 50244, has an open stone-built log fireplace in the lounge, with exposed stone walls and feature beam. The smaller cottage, ref 50245, has the smithy's open fireplace in the lounge and exposed stone walls with beams and timber ceiling. Shop and pub 1 mile. All on one floor: Lounge with double bed settee, kitchen/dining room with French doors to patio, 1 step to bathroom with shower over bath, toilet & basin, 1 twin bedroom. Services: NSH.
