This detached cottage has been converted to provide good quality holiday accommodation, yet with some of its original character retained, with exposed roof timbers and modern additions. It is 5 minutes walk from the centre of the attractive and popular Peak District town of Matlock and makes an exceptionally good base for exploring the whole of the Peak National Park. American Adventure, Tramway Museum and Dovedale are all nearby for an enjoyable day out. Historic places such as Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall and Carsington Water are well worth a visit. Shop and pub 400 yards. First floor: Dining lounge, 1 double bedroom, shower room with toilet & basin, kitchen off the landing between the 2 short flights of stairs.
