Secluded valley 1 mile from beach Outstanding converted farm and courtyard cottages Peaceful, quiet, superb location In spring and early summer the hedgerows around The Barnyard are dense with wild flowers. The valley setting is peaceful and attractive with the two storey cottages having reversed accommodation to allow guests to enjoy views from the upstairs open-plan living areas. Grounds are secluded with lawns and private patios for sunbathing and picnicking. There is a games room with snooker table, dartboard, puzzles and a small library. The main farmhouse offers spacious, and a very good standard of accommodation with a private drive and large gardens. The Barnyard is ideally situated for both family seaside holidays and country breaks. Portreath's sandy beach and walks on the North Cornwall cliffs are just a mile away. A 20 minute drive takes you to St Ives, Falmouth, Newquay, Penzance or Truro. With Tehidy Golf Club, tennis court and a leisure centre on the doorstep there is a great choice of things to do and places to go. Shop and pub within 1 mile. The Barnyard was imaginatively converted from a traditional range of farm buildings which have been refurbished, with exposed beams, natural pine doors and stairs the cottages retain much of their rustic character, whilst the owners have taken great care to provide a high standards of comfort - kitchens and bathrooms are well appointed. Single storey: Open plan lounge with dining & kitchen area, bathroom with bath, shower, toilet & basin, bedrooms - 1 double, 1 with 3ft bunks. (N.B. The floor is split level between the lounge & the dining/kitchen area, with 4 further steps up to the main bedroom). The cottage is designed for families with children, but second bedroom is suitable for adult relatives. No unrelated all adult parties. Services for all properties: Modern storage heaters (CH costs included in tariff 15/09/06-19/04/07 - optional extra at other times payable to owner). All other power, bed linen (duvets) & towels inc. Ample parking. Cot & h/chair avail at all properties except 2998 & 2999 (cot linen not inc). Video (except in 23433). CD player. Elec cooker. M/wave. Private patio.
