You will enjoy relaxing in either of these beautifully furnished apartments, accessed via lift or stairs. The sandy beach at Turnberry is only 5 minutes walk, and the Championship Golf Course 1 mile. Within Ayrshire there are many quality golf courses to choose from. The west coasts offers good opportunities to fish. Choose beaches or the inland hills and forests to walk. Galloway Forest has marked paths and plenty of wild life to see. Culzean Castle NT, sitting on the cliff edge, with its Country Park, has many craft and outdoor weekends. Travel south to Stranraer and take a day trip to Ireland. South of Stranraer is the picturesque village of Portpatrick with its harbour, craft shops and a good selection of restaurants. Travel north and visit the birth place of Robert Burns, the Ayrshire poet, at Alloway along with the famous 'Auld Haunted Kirk' featured in his poem Tam O' Shanter. Ayr 15 miles, is a traditional seaside town with good shopping, restaurants, indoor sports facilities and racing. Glasgow, the European city for designer shopping, is only 45 minutes by train from Ayr. Glasgow/Prestwick Airport, 20 miles. Shop 800 yards, pub 1 mile.
