This former farm workers cottage is full of character with a sunny cottage garden. Brompton boasts the historic church where Wordsworth was married, and is ideal for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors National Park and the Blue Flag beach resorts of Scarborough and Bridlington. Visit the market town of Pickering and take a trip on the steam train. The Esk valley takes you to the village of Goathland (Heartbeat). The historic port of Whitby with cobble streets and curio and specialist shops is nearby. York, 28 miles. Shop 50 yards, pub 200 yards.
