During careful restoration many of the original features, beams, doors and panelling have been retained and create a warm and historic atmosphere. The house is close to the centre of Woodstock where there are inns, restaurants, shops and a museum. Blenheim Palace the birth place of Winston Churchill is within walking distance and the parklands and lakes created by Capability Brown provide stunning views 'one of the most beautiful in England'. There are many events featured at the Palace, good walking and famous gardens to enjoy. Bladon, the last resting place of Winston Churchill is 1 mile away.
