The area is criss-crossed by numerous footpaths and cycling trails. City of Norwich, 9 miles, for excellent shopping, fine restaurants, cafes, pubs, cathedral and castle museum. Coastline, 11 miles, for Norfolk's finest sandy beaches and dunes. Sprowston Hall, 7 miles, for golf course. Felbrigg and Blickling Halls (NT) and gardens within easy reach for day trips.
