This delightful cottage is pleasantly situated in its own garden. Standing on the edge of 'Kirklands Guards' working farm it is surrounded by beautiful scenery and has excellent road access to the lakes and fells of the north and western Lake District, Carlisle and southern Scotland. A comfortable and cosy lounge with woodburning stove and sitting area which overlooks the pond and garden, makes this an ideal all year round base. Cockermouth and Bassenthwaite lake, 7 miles. Keswick, 12 miles, Carlisle city, 16 miles. Shops 5 miles, pub 1 mile. Ground floor: Lounge, dining room/kitchen. First floor: 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with shower over bath, toilet & basin.
