Originally a farmworkers cottage, it is in the village of Tean, an ideal base to explore the Peak District and Staffordshire Moorlands. The market towns of Cheadle, Uttoxeter (famous race course), Ashbourne, Leek and Bakewell all a short drive. There are two steam railways, NT properties and gardens, Sudbury Hall, Bidulph Grange, historic houses, pottery museums (factory shops) all within easy reach. Alton Towers, 5 miles. Excellent walks.
