Renowned for its mountains and hilly terrain, the area holds attraction for many diverse sports such as white water rafting, fishing, hiking and mountain biking. Dry ski slope at Llandudno. The beaches at Cardigan Bay are nearby and all areas of North Wales and the Lleyn Peninsula are easily accessible. Road links are good and some of the finer attractions such as Portmeirion Italianate Village, the Ffestiniog Railway, Llechwedd Slate Caverns and Harlech Castle are within a 30 minute drive.
