Within easy driving distances are the towns of Bala, Llangollen, Betwys Y Coed and Snowdonia National Park. Slightly further a field are Barmouth, Portmeirion, the North Wales Coast, Wrexham, Chester and the castles at Caernarfon, Conwy and Harlech. There are pleasant walks close by and many outdoor pursuits, other activities and places of interest are available in the area. The local village is 1 mile away and includes 2 restaurants, a pub and a Post Office/shop.
