Visitors enjoy shared use of the 44 acre grounds and there are two well stocked fishing pools available to experienced anglers by prior arrangement. Church Stretton, with good sports amenities, shops, restaurants and pubs is within 2 miles and glorious 6 mile Long Mynd, with gliding, is nearby. Within easy reach are Ironbridge Visitor Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm Museum, Stokesay Castle, Shrewsbury and Ludlow. Walking, bird watching, and golf locally. Pub 1 mile.
