This pretty Devon cottage occupies a picturesque rural location on the banks of the River Taw and close to the Tarka Line. Offering a delightful year round retreat, the cottage has its own gardens with patio area overlooking the river, perfect for summer holidays, and has its own woodburning stove, making this a cosy setting for winter breaks. The cottage also has the benefit of its own fishing rights along the River Taw. Ideally located just a short driving distance from the market towns of Barnstaple and South Molton, Bideford with shopping centre and historic port, and the spectacular coast attractions of North Devon are all within 10 miles. Exmoor and Dartmoor National Parks are within easy reach, or take the Tarka Line to visit the cathedral city of Exeter. Golf courses can be found locally, with Great Torrington and Libbaton being the closest. Fishing is readily available in the area on the Taw and Torridge. Horse riding can be found locally and there are an abundance of countryside and coastal walks and cycle paths in the area. Rosemoor RHS gardens, Dartington Crystal works, and local family attractions; The Big Sheep and the Milky Way are within 15 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 800 yards.
