Built on sloping ground the main entrance is at the rear of the property at balcony level. All of the apartments offer very comfortable accommodation. Set in a quiet cul-de-sac on the south side of the river, half a mile from York racecourse, the central location is ideal for sightseeing and shopping on foot, whilst returning to a relaxing base. Walk down to the park and lake and a leisurely 15 minute stroll along the towpath brings you to Skeldergate Bridge, with boat trips available, and the heart of the city. Here you may walk the ancient city walls and visit the Minster, Castle Museum, Railway Museum and Jorvik Viking centre. Cobbled streets, such as The Shambles and Stonegate with hanging baskets and street players are full of interesting specialist shops and restaurants.
