The fabulous Golden Coast beaches of Saunton, Croyde, Putsborough and Woolacombe are all within 15 miles of the property, a must for keen surfers and beach lovers. An ideal base for Exmoor National Park, avid walkers and naturalists can experience the delights of the National Park with endless footpaths and dramatic coastal paths, offering sightings of the famous Exmoor Ponies and Red Deer. Bideford, historic port and market town is just 10 miles by car, or bring bicycles and take the Tarka Trail, a fabulous scenic cycle trail and footpath which follows the edge of the estuary and River Taw.
