Set in a rural location in north Dorset, close to the Wiltshire/Somerset border, this 19th century cottage of local stone has been sympathetically refurbished and extended retaining character and charm but with modern facilities. The Abbey town of Sherborne, Saxon town of Shaftesbury, and Wincanton with its race course and golf are nearby. Further afield are beaches at Weymouth, Lulworth Cove and Chesil beach, Hardy country, Cerne Abbas giant, Stourhead Gardens, Bath and Longleat. Riding, Post office and pub/restaurant are in the village.
