It is superbly situated on its own, set in a beautiful wooded valley with extensive gardens and frontage onto the River Exe. Walking and riding both locally and on Exmoor, where you can also visit famous Lorna Doone Valley, Tarr Steps. Sailing is available on nearby Wimbleball Lake and golf and fishing are within easy reach. Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged locally. Dunster with its magnificent castle and Minehead are approx. 20 miles. Tiverton and Knightshayes Court are 6 miles. The cathedral city of Exeter, 16 miles. Shop 2 miles, pub 1 mile.
