Ferry links with the Cowal Peninsula and islands of Arran, Gigha, Islay and Jura are all close by, and in summer, the paddle steamer `Waverley' visits. Lochgilphead, 13 miles. 9 hole golf course at Tarbert. Perfect as a base for visiting the nearby islands and the beautiful Mull of Kintyre, or alternatively, just enjoy the peace and solitude of the countryside.
