These delightful cottages are set high above Waterrow village on a working farm with spectacular views over some of the most beautiful countryside in Britain. They were imaginatively converted from a former hayloft and stables by owners who took care to retain the original beams and stonework. The result is a satisfying blend of comfort and character. Beyond the farmland fine walking and riding country begins. The Quantock Hills and Exmoor is close by. There is a leisure centre and pool at Wellington, sailing and fishing at Wimbleball Lake, and Blue Anchor and Minehead on the glorious North Devon Coast, about 15 miles. The National Trust properties of Knightshayes Court and Killerton Gardens are well worth a visit. The historic cathedral city of Exeter with its theatre, restaurants, pubs, shops and fascinating Maritime Museum is within easy reach. Shop 3 miles, pub 1/2 mile.
