Superb views These quality and characterful barn conversions are set in striking "White Peak" scenery and each enjoys one of the most breathtaking views in the Peak Park, across to the jagged and dramatic Crome Edge, to Axe Edge and down to the pretty stone built village of Earl Sterndale. Their creative conversion has given the properties individual charm with old stone arches, high vaulted ceilings and some original beams and all are suited to partially disabled guests (though Harebell 10848 has 4 steps up to the front door). There are simply lovely walks to the edges across the valley, with Hartington, Dovedale and Bakewell an easy drive and the cultural spa town of Buxton 4 miles. Climbing at the Roaches (5 miles) and Froggatt, caves at Castleton, with Chatsworth, Alton Towers and American Adventure all under 25 minutes drive. The properties may be booked together for larger families and also with the nearby cottage 9603 for 4 people (120 yards away). Shop 2 miles, pub ½ mile. On first floor but with level access from rear garden area (4 steps only).
