The village of Craven Arms has some charming and historic houses, including a round house, thought to be a recognisable rest house for pilgrim's travelling between Wigmore and Shrewsbury Abbeys. Knighton, Bishops Castle, medieval Ludlow, home to nearly 500 listed buildings are within easy reach. There is half a mile of coarse fishing within walking distance.
