Arrival by car: From outside Salzburg: - Exit the motorway for Salzburg West, onto Innsbrucker Bundesstrasse - Follow directions to P-Altstadt Mitte, Maxglaner Hauptstrasse until you come to the Neutorstrasse. From Salzburg: - Drive over the Staatsbrücke bridge (with view of the castle) on your right-hand side). - After the Hanuschplatz square take the next turn left (Haus der Natur). - Then drive straight ahead under the Gstättentor (city gate), - Then turn right and between the Pferdeschwemme monument and Festspielhaus concert hall. - Drive through the Mönchsberg tunnel.
