From the airport: Take the motorway in the direction of Funchal. Exit the motor-way where you see the sign “HOSPITAL FUNCHAL”. Drive until you reach a round-about (you will first pass two Repsol gas stations, one on the left and the other on the right). Keep to your right and drive down “Avenida Luís Camões” (you will find the main hospital on your right) until you come to a cross-roads with traffic lights. Drive straight across “Avenida do Infant”, you will then come to another cross-roads (you will see the Madeira Carlton Hotel in front of you), here you turn left onto “Rua Imperatriz D. Amélia."
