• Chatsworth House(30 km)- Britains premier Stately Home, 'The Palace of the Peak'. Magnificent home of the Dukes of Devonshire, and very close to Derbyshires other major house, 'Haddon Hall'.• Bakewell(30 km)- Famous for its 'Bakewell Pudding', this pretty market town is popular for its setting by the river, Monday market and individual shops.
• Dovedale(35 km)- Possibly the most famous dale in Britain. Stunning limestone gorge with walks open to all.
• Alton Towers(45 km)- Spectacular theme park. A wonderful day out for everyone. Rides set amongst carefully tended gardens and grounds.

By Car: From Belper: - Take the A517 towards Ashbourne. - After approximately 1.5 miles (2.5 km), you will see Hanging Gate pub on the right. - After the pub, take the next right on the brow of the hill, signposted Shottle, (Lambhouse Lane). - Continue for approximately 1 mile (1.5k m) into the village. - Go straight on at the crossroads. - After approximately 328 yards (300 metres), turn right onto Bowmans Lane. - Dannah is 54 yards (50 metres) on the left.distid=1 propertyid=231697
