• Kelvingrove Art Gallery & Museum(1 km)- The Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum is now closed until summer 2006 for major refurbishment. However, you can still see key works from the collection at the McLellan Galleries, where they will be on display until the reopening of Kelvingrove.• Kelvingrove Park(1 km)- Kelvingrove Park's 85 acres were laid out by Sir Joseph Paxton in 1852 and is situated between Glasgow University and Kelvingrove Art Galleries. Features in the park include commemorative statues, fountains, tennis, bowling and a fine herbaceous border.
