Fort Augustus

This ‘country house in the woods’ is set in mature garden grounds, and offers peace and quiet in a relaxed atmosphere 2 miles from Loch Ness and Fort Augustus.
You are offered a warm, friendly, family welcome at this converted former Scottish Farmhouse, the ideal base for touring the Highlands of Scotland. From the conservatory you can admire views of the Great Glen mountain range.
The TV lounge features a log fire, and the games room has a pool table, beamed ceiling and wood-burning stove. There are many hill and mountain tracks nearby, and riverside walks outside your door.
This former Scottish farmhouse has had many different uses in the past. It has been used as a farmhouse, forestry offices and more recently as a summer school for children in the borders of Scotland. In spite of all these different uses, it still retains many of its original features.
