All bedrooms are en-suite and individually designed, including a mahogany Four Poster bed and a unique Chinese Four Poster bed. Set in one of Warwickshire's most picturesque and best kept rural villages, the Golden Lion Hotel is the ideal location for visiting Rugby School, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick Castle, Althorp Stately Home and the NEC. Coventry Airport and Birmingham International Airport are nearby, therefore travelling is kept to a minimum. The Bar and Restaurant are in the original building, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant recently won an award, and continues to provide outstanding dishes. With a brand new function suite, the Golden Lion Hotel can accommodate conferences, weddings, private occasions and celebrations. Business Facilities: The Jacc's Suite is the main function room, which can accommodate for up to 60 people, there are syndicate rooms available for smaller meetings. Reception will take care of all printing, photocopying and faxing requirements. Outdoor Activities: Guests can enjoy the beautiful countryside and Warwickshire's best kept village in the garden at the Golden Lion Hotel. There are plenty of walks in the area, aswell as the Oxford Canal, where you can hire barges. Just a short drive away are many of the finest stately homes and castles in the country. • Althorp House(16 km)- Althorp House and Grounds span over 500 years and 19 generations. The house is set in 450 acres of idyllic park. Home to the Spencer family, and the late Diana, visit the award winning exhibition of the life and work of Diana, Princess of Wales.
• Warwick Castle(28 km)- Warwick Castle is set in the most outstanding grounds. With fantastic special events throughout the year and themed feasts and suppers, Warwick Castle is so much more than simply a castle.
• Stratford upon Avon(40 km)- The birthplace of Shakespeare, Stratford upon Avon is steeped in culture and history. Set on the banks of the River Avon, you can enjoy a stroll around the town, visit the Royal Shakespeare's Theatre or dine in one of the many eateries.

Directions:

Follow the A426 from Rugby town centre, pass the police station on your right and continue under the railway bridge. At the roundabout take the first exit, towards Newbold, B4112. Drive for approximately three miles and turn off just past the Harborough Parva sign, towards Easenhall. Follow this road for a mile and you reach Easenhall village, the Golden Lion Hotel is on your right.
