CANCELLATION POLICY: null COMMENTS: Laston House is a non-smoking hotel. We require a non refundable deposit equivalent to the cost of the first night's stay to secure the booking. However, if you should need to change your dates you can do so without loosing your deposit providing it is done within six months of the original booking.

Rooms

Master Bedroom ()

The Master Bedroom is a large room decorated in cream and pink tones, with a leather settee, fireplace and en suite shower and toilet. It is equipped with a colour tv, dvd player, cd player/radio alarm, fridge/mini- bar and beverage making facilities. The Master Bedroom can be used as a double or a twin room, so please let us know which you would prefer. A travel cot and an additional bed for a child can be added to this room. There is a lovely sea view from the bay windows. View of the garden, sea and, on a clear day, the coast of Wales.

The Owl Room ()

This room is a good sized double room with en suite bath and toilet. It is equipped with colour tv, cd player/radio alarm, fridge/mini-bar and beverage making facilities. The room is decorated in cream tones with Owl prints painted by a local artist and has a sea view beyond the lawn. This room has a view of the garden, sea and, on a good day, the coast of Wales.

County Gate Room ()

This is a small quiet room with en suite bath and toilet. It is equipped with colour tv, cd player/radio alarm, fridge/mini-bar and beverage making facilities. The County Gate room can be used as a double, twin or single room, so please let us know which you prefer. It is decorated in cream tones with a print of County Gate on Exmoor painted by a local artist and it looks on to a bank of shrubs and flowers. This room looks on to a bank of shrubs and flowers.

Nursery Suite ()

This suite comprises two rooms with an interconnecting door, both bedrooms have en suite bath and toilet. The rooms are decorated in cream tones and equipped with colour tv, cd player/radio alarm, fridge/mini- bar (lockable) and beverage making facilities. The double room has a sea view and the twin room has a view of a bank with shrubs and flowers (not available after May 2006, see Lawn suite). If booked for two adults only, the cost of one child will be added. The double room of the two rooms has a sea view and the twin room has a view of a bank with shrubs and flowers. The Nursery Suite can only be booked as a family room with at least one paying child. The suite comprises of two bedrooms (both with bath en suite facilities) with an interconnecting door. Double room has a sea view, the twin room looks on to shrubs.

Kingfisher Room ()

The Kingfisher Room a medium sized double bedroom with en suite bath and toilet. It is decorated in cream and brown tones and is equipped with a colour tv, cd player/radio alarm, fridge/mini-bar and beverage making facilities. The room is on the side of the hotel and looks on to a bank of shrubs and flowers.

Butterfly Room ()

The Butterfly Room is decorated in cream tones with one little window on to courtyard and one larger window. This is a smaller double room, which can be used as a double or a single with en suite shower and toilet. It is equipped with colour tv, cd player/radio alarm, a fridge/mini-bar and beverage making facilities. Looks out on to a bank of shrubs and flowers.

Morning Room ()

This ground floor double room is decorated in cream and pink tones with en suite bath and toilet. It is equipped with colour tv, cd player/radio alarm, fridge/mini-bar and beverage making facilities. The room is at the front of the hotel with a view of the garden and a glimpse of the sea.

Bank Family Suite ()

The Bank Family Suite comprises two rooms in the west wing with a single lockable door separating it from the rest of the hotel. One room has en suite bath and toilet and the other has shower and toilet. Each room in the suite is equipped with colour tv, cd player/ radio alarm, fridge/mini- bar and beverage making facilities. If booked for two adults only, the cost of one child will be added. The suite is on the side of the hotel and looks on to a bank of shrubs and flowers.

• Lundy Island(30 km)- Beautiful, remote, wildlife spotting and diving - so much to see and do on such a small island.
• Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park(8 km)- A really good day out for all ages.

Directions:

Travelling to North Devon: National Express run several services which call at Ilfracombe. The nearest Railway Station is 15 miles away in Barnstaple. We are happy to help with your travel arrangements, and we can collect/organise transport for guests from local stations, subject to prior notice. How to find us: Take the M5 to junction 27. Go west on the A361 link road towards Barnstaple. On the Barnstaple side of South Molton, take the A399 (this route avoids Barnstaple which can be busy) or carry on through Barnstaple on A361 through Braunton to Ilfracombe. Drive through the High Street, along Portland Street and Hillsborough Road, turn right at the traffic lights and the entrance to the driveway is on the first left.Bear right down the driveway to the Hotel.
