En Suite Single Room ()

The room overlooks the garden and has uninterrupted views of the countryside. Other than the facilites listed below, all rooms have decanters with sherry for a nightcap.

This front-facing room has a king-size bed, a double shower and luxury towels. It offers a view overlooking Loch Ryan and a breathtaking sunset.

Twin Room (with Private Bathroom) ()

This room is decorated in a colonial style from the current Laura Ashley range, with little touches such as solid wood furniture, pretty mirrors and a matching tissue box. A private bathroom contains a cast-iron bath and original Victorian sink. The bathroom, with a shower, is situated a few steps from the bedroom. Bathrobes and toiletries are supplied. As well as the facilities listed below, all rooms have decanters with sherry.

Family Room with View of Loch Ryan ()

This room is furnished with a solid oak dressing table and wardrobe which have been handed down through generations of the family. The family room has a king-size bed and 2 single beds, and can comfortably sleep 4 people. Sitting at the table in the window overlooking the garden and the beautiful Loch Ryan, you will be inspired to write your postcards from Scotland or plan your itinerary, all while watching the ferries sail by. Other than the facilities listed below, the room also has decanters filled with sherry for a nightcap.

• Southern Upland Way(10 km)- The walk starts at Portpatrick, we offer a pick up / drop off service to walkers.
• Logan Botanical Gardens(14 km)- The gardens are tropical as they sit on the gulf stream.They are a very popular attraction to both locals and holiday makers.
• Curling(2 km)- The North West Castle has a first class curling rink open to the public.

Directions:

Balyett Bed and Breakfast is half a mile from Stranraer on the A77. Stranraer ferry: 4 minutes. Cairnryan ferry: 6 minutes. Please note that there is only parking for 6 cars.
