Just in case the hotel is fully booked, you will be allocated in one of the 4 internal rooms. Please note than in the event of a sporting event or concert coinciding with the date you choose to stay, the booking will be fully pre payable and non-refundable if cancelled.

• The National Museum of Wales(0 km)- Art, science and history at your fingertips. Art galleries housing world famous art. Take a journey back intime to explore a land of dinasaurs and woolly mammoths. Uncover the secrets of the amazing natural history of Wales.
• Cardiff Castle(0 km)- The Castle stands in the heart of the city, the Castle is extremly impressive and parts date back to the Norman and Roman times.
• Mermaid Quay(1 km)- Shops, bars and restaurants located on the waterfront of Cardiff Bay. Also to be found is the science musuem; Techniquest and the Wales Millinnium Centre.
• The Museum of Welsh Life(10 km)- The museum shows how people of Wales lived, worked and spent their leisure time over the last 500 years. The musuem stands in the grounds of the magnificent St Fagans Castle, a late 16th century manor house.

Directions:

By Car: From the M4: - Take junction 32, and then follow signs to the city centre on the A470. - Stay on the A470 for approximately 7 miles (11.3 km). - You will pass over a flyover and go through a number of traffic lights. - When you enter the city centre you will see civic centre buildings on your left and the castle will be on your right. - Once you pass the civic building and Hilton Hotel on your left, the road will bend to the left. - Follow this road around past the entrance of the castle and through the traffic lights. - Get into the left-hand lane before the 2nd set of traffic lights on this road. (The Angel Hotel will be on your left.) - Take an immediate left at the traffic lights onto Westgate Street. - The Millennium Stadium should now be visible on your right-hand side and you will pass an NCP car park on your left. - Follow this road until it curves to the right, at which point you need to go straight on. - Immediately on your right (past the bend) you will see Edwards Bar; the entrance to The Royal Hotel is on the left of this bar. From Central Train Station (approximately 0.6 km/ 0.3 miles): Exit the train station at the front. When you exit the train station the bus station will be directly opposite you. You will need to follow the road to the right of the station (for approximately 100 yards), past the taxi rank and NCP car park. Once you get to the traffic lights, turn left onto St Mary Street. The Royal Hotel is approximately 300 yards on your left. Follow this road for one block and you will reach traffic lights on the junction to Wood Street. The Royal Hotel is directly opposite above O'Neils Pub. You will need to cross the road and pass the pub called Edwards to reach the entrance on your left-hand side, still located on St Mary Street.
