• Neues Schloss & Schlossplatz(3 km)- The New Palace reflects a lot of French influence. Today, the central part of the building houses rooms for the representatives of the State Government while the side wings accommodate two ministries.
• Boat trips on the river Neckar(3 km)- It is possible to enjoy a trip along the river Neckar on one of the boats of the Neckar Passenger Ship Service - NPS. All these boats have full catering facilities and carry between 150 - 500 passengers.
• Markthalle(3 km)- of the most beautiful market halls in Germany built in 1914 by Martin Elsaesser in the Art Nouveau Style. Its visitors enjoy the special mix between old traditional atmosphere and modern spirit.
• Haus der Wirtschaft(3 km)- The largest and most impressive of Stuttgart's buildings is the 19th century 'Haus der Wirtschaft' in the centre of the city, just a few minutes walk from the Königstrasse.
