• Ventnor Botanic Gardens(0 km)- Twenty two acres of world themed gardens with a visitor centre, gift shop, cafe, 2 semi-permanent exhibitions and a plant sales area.
• Dinosaur Museum(4 km)- In Britain's first purpose built dinosaur attraction walk back through fossilized time, and meet life sized replicas of dinosaurs including an Animatronic Neovenator.
• Lighthouse(4 km)- Present tower established in 1840. The main light is visible for up to 26 nautical miles and there are 94 steps inside the tower up to the lantern
• Cave - Shanklin(5 km)- Rare flora and fauna. PLUTO (pipeline under the ocean) with commentary. Victorian sea-water bath, aviary and waterfalls. Memorial to 40 Royal Marines Commando.
