A beautifully-kept market-town hotel, set in the centre of the village, this popular venue has recently been completely refurbished and is now under new management. • Shakespears Birthplace(10 km)- The half-timbered house where William Shakespeare was born in 1564 continued as a family home until the19th century. Many fascinating architechtural features and furniture from the 16th & 17th centuries.
• Anne Hathaways cottage(10 km)- This world famous thatched cottage continued to be owned by Anne Hathaway's descendants until the late 19th century. It still contains the Hathaway bed and many other items of furniture owned by the family.
• Butterfly Farm(10 km)- Europe's largest exhibition of its type. Hundreds of spectacular and colouful butterflies flying in the world of the exotic rainforest. Observe the strange and fascinating in Insect City and Arachnoland; home of the world's largest spider.
• Warwick Castle(15 km)- With it's magnificent Towers and Ramparts, offers vistors over 1000 years of history. The chilling Dungeon contrasts with the splendour of the State Rooms, baronial Great Hall and Royal Weekend Party, 1898.

By Car: From Banbury: - Take the M40 to the B4035. Or: - Take the A429 Fosse Way, an ancient Roman road which lies just north of the town. - The Falcon Inn is located on the A3400, approximately 10 miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon and 30 miles north of Oxford. The nearest train stations are in Banbury or Moreton-in-Marsh, which both have regular trains from London. Parking is available to the side of the inn.
