• Falkirk Wheel(1 km)- The Falkirk Wheel was built for the Millennium Link Project celebrations and is a feat of modern engineering and design. Built to join the Forth & Clyde canal with the Union canal it carries boats from one level to another.

Directions:

From Edinburgh (The East): m9 motorway to Stirling, turn off at junction 5 signposted as a905 Falkirk, Grangemouth. Follow signs for Falkirk town centre. The Hotel is situated adjacent to Callendar Square Shopping Centre. From Glasgow (The West): m8 motorway to Edinburgh, turn off on the m80 motorway which is signposted for Stirling. Join the dual carriageway by passing Cumbernauld (a80). Join m876 motorway for Falkirk and Grangemouth and turn off at the junction signposted Falkirk a883. Follow the signs for Falkirk town centre. From Perth (The North): a9 joining the m9 motorway to Edinburgh at Stirling. Turn off at the junction signposted Falkirk, Grangemouth. Follow signs for Falkirk town centre. By Rail: Grahamston Train Station is situated approx. 200 metres from the hotel. Falkirk High Station is situated approx half a mile from the hotel. By Air: Edinburgh Airport is 25 miles away and Glasgow Airport is 26 miles away. By Bus: The local bus station is 100 metres from the hotel and local buses run every 15 minutes.
